Do you have a two-panel slider with a emergency breakout panel?

The Dura-Glide^® 5200/5300 telescoping doors are 3 panel doors. The 5200 Series features partial breakout, where 1 panel breaks out for emergency egress, while the 5300 Series features full breakout where all 3 panels breakout. If you are looking for a 2-panel door with breakout, you may consider our Dura-Glide^® 2000/3000 sliding doors which feature emergency breakout for 2 panels.

In a power failure without a UPS, can people get through the door or will we need a separate man door for emergency ingress?

It depends. All of our door systems have an integrated means of egress feature. On the 5300 all panels breakout for egress. On the 5200 only the lead panel breaks out for egress. If either of these options are short of providing the design egress width for the project, then additional doors are required.
