Thermal Performance Estimator
Use this form to generate thermal estimates for STANLEY door systems or help you determine the glass performance requirements for any given door configuration.
Automatic Sliding Door Thermal Performance Estimates
This tool is designed specifically for customers, architects, and specifiers who wish to assess the thermal performance of Dura-Glide® or Dura-Glide® GreenStar 2000/3000 door packages or determine the glass performance requirements for STANLEY door systems to meet specific thermal performance goals.
This interactive web form has been developed to help simplify the complexities of U-Factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient, and Visible Light Transmittance values and to streamline such requests to our Spec Writing team.
Estimated Thermal Performance Values available:
- U-Factor (UF)
- Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC)
- Visible Light Transmittance (VT)
Two Options Available:
OPTION 1: Estimate the thermal performance based on specific door system with specific glazing system:
- Specific door configuration
- Glass specification including necessary thermal performance values
or
OPTION 2: Determine glass performance requirements for a door system to achieve specific thermal performance targets:
- Specific door configuration
- Target values for thermal performance
Calculations are based on the combined glass and door values of one (1) STANLEY automatic sliding door/exterior application (typical.)
