Product FAQs
We've been experts in automatic doors for over 80 years, and our Dura-Glide® doors are some of our most popular models. Have questions? We've got the answers.
Typically, this door comes with a mechanical lock. It's keyed on the outside with a thumb turn on the inside. Note that when the door is locked, it doesn’t break out. Varying access control options are also available, such as a retinal scanner, key switch, keypad, or card reader.
Only the Dura-Glide 2000 can sit on the ground without any track. This is because only the sliding panels break out. The Dura-Glide 3000 requires a track/threshold because all panels break out.
The Dura-Glide 2000/3000 is a robust sliding door system based on traditional stile and rail panels in narrow and medium stiles. The wider you make the stiles, the less the door can slide (less CDO).
